Castleton Tea Estate, a prestigious tea garden renowned worldwide for its fragrant black tea

Located in the South Kurseong region, Castleton Tea Estate was founded in 1865. Its name comes from a circular building that once stood on the site, resembling a castle. The teas produced by this estate, which has repeatedly set world records at auction, continue to fascinate tea lovers worldwide. At an altitude of 1,463m, the tea fields, mostly on south-facing slopes, are planted with low-growing China-type tea bushes, even as hybrid varieties are increasingly cultivated in other estates. The parent company, which owns several famous tea estates, specifically selected a highly capable individual as the manager for Castleton, and under strict management, the estate maintains a policy of producing only truly high-quality teas. It is a tea estate that consistently delivers the finest teas to us.

Darjeeling: A Fragrance Nurtured by the Himalayas

Darjeeling tea is considered one of the three great black teas of the world, and is known as the "Champagne of Teas" due to its delicate and rich aroma. It is a famous producing region known even to those who are not avid tea drinkers.

Darjeeling has three distinct quality seasons: spring, summer, and autumn. The second flush, picked from late May to June, is filled with a rich and mellow taste and aroma, thanks to the summer sun. Some high-quality brands boast a sweet, lingering aroma, spreading in the back of the throat, unique to Darjeeling, known as the Muscatel flavor (musk).
